MaoEcho Account and Data Deletion

In-App Deletion Path
Authenticated users can delete their account from Profile > Reading and legal settings > Account actions > Delete account. The app asks for confirmation before deletion.
What Happens After Confirmation
After confirmation, the app deletes the Firebase Auth account, removes the primary Firestore user profile document, clears the local authenticated session, clears account-scoped local caches, and returns the user to the login screen.
Firebase Deletion Scope
- Firebase Auth account access.
- Primary Firestore user profile document.
- Account-scoped local device cache.
Manual Request Scope
Manual deletion requests can also cover retained account-linked Firestore records, including learning sessions, question and answer history, feedback submissions, AI content reports, analytics events, and saved app state.
Local Deletion Scope
The app clears the current account namespace in local storage, including notes, reading history, favorites, feedback cache, saved positions, visited segments, question count, subscription flag, preferred voice, and preferred perspective.
Manual Request Channel
If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request to support@gloryevolution.com. Include the registered email address and a short statement that you want the MaoEcho account and related learning data deleted. Manual deletion requests must verify ownership of the registered email before deletion.
